Spiritual Care
Knowing that religion can be a powerful resource for promoting the wellbeing of persons; upon admission each patient’s spiritual needs are assessed. All patients have access to spiritual/pastoral support through the clergy person of their choice or the local ministerial list maintained by the hospital’s Social Service Worker. With the patient’s consent, their pastor will be notified of their hospitalization. Weekly Bible study is available to patient’s who are interested in group religious services. The chapel is also available 24 hours a day for use by the patient, families, and their clergy.
